A Weight Loss Solution For Office Workers

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

So you work in an office environment and are struggling to control your weight. Why was this? Well you may have chosen just about the worst career as there is very little exercise involved, on average. So what is the solution to these weight gaining issues?

To answer this question we need to start by realising the reasons why people put on weight in the first place. In general it is due to the fact a person is unable to burn off the total amount of calories that they have consumed within that day.

In general the type of person who is likely to read this form of article would not be somebody who visits the gym every night after they finish work and therefore these tips are for those who are struggling to control their weight.

I also work in an office environment helping people to obtain cheaper mobile calls and have decided that there is only one answer to my own weight problems. I have basically had to totally cut down on the amount of food that I eat on an average day and also have started to think about the types of food that I eat.

I stopped the jacket potatoes with those fatty toppings, I stopped the baguettes and I stopped the club sandwiches. In their place came a couple of bananas, vegetable soup and salads.

I have managed to return to a weight and shape that I am happy with however it has taken a lot of self-discipline.

My overall life has improved as a result and I have managed to gain confidence as a result; it has also enabled me to have the belief to offer leaflet printing and link building services.

I hope this article enables other office workers to also lose weight as it has sure made a massive difference to my life. That audio book has changed my life for the better.

A Diet That Works

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

A few years ago I decided I had had enough of being fat and that it was time to do something about it. What I required was my own type of weight loss program. I have never liked the thought of attending a gym, they seem to be full of thin people, however I knew that exercise would need to be a factor.

I received great support from my best friend Jason. He is a very successful man with various business interests including to do with front doors, training for foster carers and offering cheap phone calls.

As well as exercise, I also realised that I had to change my eating habits. I am somebody who likes to eat all the wrong types of food. I love all types of take away including pizzas, a curry, a chinese, and chips. I would always be snacking in between meals, on things like peanuts and crisps. I also was rather partial to alcohol, this is something which helped me to gain confidence.

I could not bare the thought of stopping myself from eating all of these foods and instead decided to write down a list of everything that I ate on a daily basis. This way I could see exactly what I could cut out.

This is what I decided to eat on average per day.

I would eat a healthy breakfast such as toast or cerial. I would try not to eat any snacks in between any meals, this was the thing that would be most difficult to stick to.

For lunch I would also stick to something healthy like pasta, however for my evening meal, I decided that I could eat anything that I wanted, including curry. I would on occasion treat myself to a curry or a chinese; this was something that I believed was essential to save me from going crazy.

This type of diet needs a lot of discipline and character, however it hs helped me to become a lot more confident and happy with life.

How To Increase Self-Confidence

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Do you lack confidence? Are you looking for advice and tips that could enable you to increase your self-esteem? If you have answered one or both of these questions with a “yes” then this article may well be worth a read.

Up until the age of about twenty-one I always seemed to have a lack of self-belief. I have to say that in reality I did not like myself. I was extremely jealous and envious of other people and what they seemingly had in comparison to me. They seemingly had it so easy where as for me life was a constant struggle. What I needed was to some how gain confidence.

I had a stutter you see which did make life unbearable at times. I did eventually, at the age of twenty-two, manage to achieve fluency which of course was a great relief. I had however already spent the previous eighteen years struggling to cope with a stuttering or what is also known as stammering problem that virtually destroyed my entire confidence.

At the end of the day I realised that the grass is always greener and that I had to start to realise that I was one of the lucky ones. I had to stop being so hard on myself and at the same time work towards improving the areas of my life that I was not happy with.

I also had to stop stressing, panicking and worrying so much. I had to completely change the way I approached life; out went the negative and in came the positive.

These were some massive changes that I was attempting to make to the way that I lived my life and I will not try and tell you that it was easy. In the end however the hard work and determination did pay off; I am now able to talk fluently with a new found confidence.

I hope that you will also be able to gain in confidence; I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

As a successful businessmen I am now involved in various projects including one which offers training for foster carers. This is a great deal fun as the lessons are very beneficial and the feedback thus far has been very positive.
