Reduce Tummy Tuck Scarring
Friday, November 19th, 2010I was always large, as a kid, as a teenager right into adulthood. Then I had my two children! Well, I suspect I don’t need to say much more, my baggy tummy was NOT pretty! So, as some women would, I looked into having a tummy tuck, it was expensive, but we had some money put aside so my boyfriend and I decided it was worth it.
I got booked in with a highly regarded surgeon and with few problems I had a smaller tighter stomach. The only worry I now had was the very large scar across my tummy where the operating personnel had sliced into my skin. He informed me that over time this would lose color and that folks have different curing properties.
I wasn’t delighted with having to wait; I mean what’s the point in having an operation to enhance yourself and ending up with one more setback? To cut a long story short, following a few weeks dwelling on this, I decided to take action regarding it and so I started hunting for a cure for tummy tuck scar reduction on the internet. But to no gain. I asked amongst my closest friends to determine whether any of them had a fitting suggestion to get rid of tummy tuck scars.
One friend finally got back to me with a result. She had overheard two women discussing in her hair salon on the subject of a Dermaroller which had allegedly dramatically reduced one of the ladies ‘dreadful’ stretch marks and supposedly worked on further problems including scarring!
As quickly as I could get access to a PC I looked up Derma Rollers on the web and discovered Derma-rollers.com. There was a piece of writing about how the derma roller can be used to deal with tummy tuck scar removal and, as it was a mere £99 for two derma rollers (very much cheaper than surgery) I bought a 1.0mm and a 1.5mm with a vitamin cream to try it out.
After 5 weeks of using the 1.0mm derma roller I am incredibly pleased. It has significantly reduced the extent of the scar and it has gone back to my original skin colour. I am now going to use the 1.5mm derma roller to carry on this process to see if it completely removes it. I have even treated my cellulite and that seems to be vanishing too! I’m so lucky my friend went to the hairdressers that day; she has helped me discover a treatment for a tummy tuck scar that genuinely does what it’s supposed to!
