How Can You Eliminate Wrinkles With A Derma Roller?

Friday, November 26th, 2010

Derma rollers are also known as skin rollers and micro needling devices and address several difficult skin problems. Do it yourself devices, derma rollers (similar to a brush), “part” skin pores with the micro needles embedded in one end. As a result of parting the pores, skin responds by creating more collagen and elastin, thus repairing the damaged skin. As a result, derma rollers can be used to assist with the healing and repair of any number of skin problems that have, up until now, been extremely difficult to remedy.

Learning a bit about the science behind derma roller technology, research and theory, may help you discern whether or not they’ll be right for you. Derma rollers are based on ancient acupuncture techniques where micro needles are inserted into the skin to unblock energy flow throughout the body. Acupuncture or micro needling has long been recognized as a highly viable healing and regeneration technique.

Using the same theory, practice and research as acupuncture, derma rollers are specifically designed to target and repair many skin problems.

Derma rollers can be used and are said to be effective in reducing and/or eliminating the following skin problems:

Stretch Marks: are known to be caused when skin is stretched too quickly. Long, bumpy skin indentations result from this skin being stretched. Both men and women can suffer from them. Pregnant women, bodybuilders and teenagers experiencing growth spurts can all suffer from these stretch marks on their bodies. Overweight individuals will also often experience the appearance of stretch marks.

Wrinkles and Anti Aging: Over time, our skin gets thinner, loses collagen and elastin and has trouble getting moisture to the top later of our skin, the epidermis. Also, fat in the subcutaneous layer, the deepest layer of skin, diminishes with age. This affects the epidermis over time, causing skin sagging and wrinkles.

Cellulite: Also known as the “orange peel syndrome”, cellulite is the name given to deposits of fat that essentially push against the connective tissue beneath a person’s skin. Skin that looks dimpled, puckered and lumpy is what is left behind. Strands of tissue that are fibrous connect skin to deeper layers and can seperate the areas that contain fat cells. Those areas can bulge, leaving behind a waffled appearance once those fat cells increase in size.

Acne and Surgical Scars: Damage or trauma to skin tissue results in scar formation. Once the skin gets damaged in any way, blood travels to the affected area in an attempt to heal itself. Acne scars are caused by one of two things: either over compensation of tissue growth or by tissue loss. That essentially means that scars formed as a result of acne form because of either too little collagen production or too much.

Hair Thinning and Hair Loss: There are a multitude of reasons for this condition. The most popular suspected reason for hair loss is DHT production. DHT is a powerful hormone in our bodies which can adversely affect the hair on our heads. When this hormone reaches our hair follicles, it prevents vital nutrients from reaching hair follicles resulting in hair loss and thinning. Derma rollers prepare the scalp skin to assist penentration of nutrient rich hair products.

What other product to date offer the potential for positively affecting so many of our most difficult skin conditions? Derma rollers are indeed well worth individual investigation.

Reduce Tummy Tuck Scarring

scar

I was always large, as a kid, as a teenager right into adulthood. Then I had my two children! Well, I suspect I don’t need to say much more, my baggy tummy was NOT pretty! So, as some women would, I looked into having a tummy tuck, it was expensive, but we had some money put aside so my boyfriend and I decided it was worth it.

I got booked in with a highly regarded surgeon and with few problems I had a smaller tighter stomach. The only worry I now had was the very large scar across my tummy where the operating personnel had sliced into my skin. He informed me that over time this would lose color and that folks have different curing properties.

I wasn’t delighted with having to wait; I mean what’s the point in having an operation to enhance yourself and ending up with one more setback? To cut a long story short, following a few weeks dwelling on this, I decided to take action regarding it and so I started hunting for a cure for tummy tuck scar reduction on the internet. But to no gain. I asked amongst my closest friends to determine whether any of them had a fitting suggestion to get rid of tummy tuck scars.

One friend finally got back to me with a result. She had overheard two women discussing in her hair salon on the subject of a Dermaroller which had allegedly dramatically reduced one of the ladies ‘dreadful’ stretch marks and supposedly worked on further problems including scarring!

As quickly as I could get access to a PC I looked up Derma Rollers on the web and discovered Derma-rollers.com. There was a piece of writing about how the derma roller can be used to deal with tummy tuck scar removal and, as it was a mere £99 for two derma rollers (very much cheaper than surgery) I bought a 1.0mm and a 1.5mm with a vitamin cream to try it out.

After 5 weeks of using the 1.0mm derma roller I am incredibly pleased. It has significantly reduced the extent of the scar and it has gone back to my original skin colour. I am now going to use the 1.5mm derma roller to carry on this process to see if it completely removes it. I have even treated my cellulite and that seems to be vanishing too! I’m so lucky my friend went to the hairdressers that day; she has helped me discover a treatment for a tummy tuck scar that genuinely does what it’s supposed to!

Derma-Roller – get rid of stretch marks

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Plenty of people across the world suffer from stretch marks. Both women and men alike, will find them showing after periods of significant growth such as puberty. Women, of course, suffer with them after pregnancy.

They occur as our skin attempts to keep up with the rate of growth in the muscles, bones or, in the instance of pregnancy, child. Invariably however, it fails to do so and tears form in the middle layer of skin, known as the Dermis. These tears show as red streaks at first and change over time to a silvery colour.

The stretch marks are actually pockets of skin with reduced levels of collagen. As the middle layer is ripped in two during the growth phase, it fails to restore itself so that it looks like its former state. Of course, it is only a cosmetic concern as there is practically no medical disadvantage to having these marks, the cosmetic concerns, however, are great. They make you feel self concious in front of people and don’t look very nice.

To remove stretch marks involves increasing the collagen levels within the Dermis layer of skin. This is most effectively achieved by enhancing your own bodies natural ability to produce collagen rather than introducing it from external sources. The best technique for doing this is medical needling using a dermaroller which is a type of collagen induction therapy.

A derma roller is a hand held device with many small needles that you roll over your skin to start the healing process and increase collagen and elastin production to naturally heal the skin.

The other additional advantage of using a dermaroller , is the way in which it boosts the effectiveness of creams and oils, such as the commonly used bio oil. It gives these lotions the ideal conditions to permeate the upper levels of skin to a far greater degree providing a much enhanced result.

As with anything health or medical related, it is important to do your research and go and see your doctor before beginning or using any product or treatment.

My Review of the Derma Roller

Derma-roller Instructions

Now that I have tried the Derma Roller for myself, I have to admit it is the most effective gadget I have EVER used! At first I was a bit skeptical, I mean, how can a few needles remove stretch marks? But as it was recommended to me by a friend and nothing else had worked on the stretch marks on my legs and tummy so, I gave it a whirl. I purchased my Derma Roller and some cream (which is 100% natural source) from derma-rollers.com and I recieved it the NEXT DAY, I was REALLY impressed. I had ordered a 1.0mm Derma roller so as not to go too small or too large and I must say it looked a little daunting when I took it out of the packaging, so I was glad I didn’t go any bigger.

Upon the first use it gave me an unusual tickling sensation, and I wasn’t sure whether I liked it or not, but as I got used to it I hardly even felt it. I found it much easier to use on my legs then my tummy because I am very ticklish, so I just sat laughing when rolling my stomach.

I use my Derma roller every week day with the cream and then give it the weekend off for my skin to heal. It only took about one and a half weeks for me to really notice the difference. My stretch marks were much less visible, they had gone lighter in colour and shorter in length. My skin even felt healthier!

About a month after using the Dermaroller and cream my stretch marks have almost gone! My confidence in my body and in general has rocketed and I have absolutely no doubt that they will continue to improve and maybe one day, fingers crossed, they will be completely healed! So, what are you waiting for?!

Skin Needling Rollers

Stretchmarks

Micro-Needling Rollers

Until recently Skin Needling was fairly costly and needed frequent trips to see a specialist; however Micro-Needling is now a frequent practice in a lot of normal house holds. The Dermaroller is a simple device with many sterilized microscopic needles which, {as they are rolled over the epidermis}, carefull separate the pores of the epidermis and set off the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen is essential for skin to heal

It is this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the main cause of the development of skin conditions including stretch marks and scars is that there is not enough|there is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin goes back to its state. When the skin gets damaged, such as a puncture, the skin repairs itself to stay healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t recognise that scars are undesirable.

For surgery scars, Stretch marks and lines and wrinkles to be removed or reduced, it is essential for the skin to have reason to restart healing itself and produce more collagen and elastin, using a skin roller achieves this by gently opening the pores of the top layer of skin giving the illusion of a trauma on the skin and needing to be repaired. regular Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.

Is a Derma-roller the best option?

Compared to other treatments (and when done at home), Micro Needling is far more cost effective and better then procedures such as just using creams as the skin only absorbs a minor percentage of creams applied, however when applied after using the micro needling roller the creams are absorbed a lot better as the pores are open.

Skin Needling is used to remove a wide range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc
