Baby Eczema- What Are The Causes

Baby eczema can be difficult and traumatic for both parents and baby, but early signs can be picked up. When you baby was put into your arms for the very first time, did you notice anything odd?. Was the skin wrinkled? Did you also noticed what appeared to be a white substance on your hands?. Baby eczema can irritates your child’s skin, making it inflamed and red. Effected areas become extra – sensitive, when the outer protective layer of the skin is lost. 

What Causes Baby Eczema?

1. Genetics may be a cause of baby eczema. 

2. Diet during pregnancy could have had an effect and contributed to baby eczema. 

3. Another cause of baby eczema, may be an allergic reaction to a medication you are taking while breast feeding.

4. If you are not breast feeding anymore, your choice of milk or formula could be the problem. 

5. The baby eczema may also be caused by weather conditions.

Baby’s Can Grow Out of The Allergies

Baby eczema can usually be grown out of, since it is an allergy. Soy milks can be recommended for an infant that still requires copious amounts of milk. Goat’s milk is the next best option if the soy milk still causes a problem for the baby eczema and is also available of the shelf. However, if all else fails on the shop shelf there is help there for formulations of milk that can be recommended from your health care professional.
